Kiana Young, also known as Your Cool Big Sister, is a New York City-based lifestyle content creator. From the projects of Yonkers, NY, Kiana was the girl who survived shelters, childhood trauma, and being postpartum during a pandemic. In 2020, she decided to turn her story into a platform and create a safe space for those without a voice. Since then, she has built a community of over one million supporters and a notable engagement rate of 5% across platforms. Kiana’s journey allowed her to find her purpose, which is to always be a source of guidance to others and to show up in a way she wishes that someone would have shown up for her. Now, Kiana is using all she has gained throughout this journey to build a shelter for displaced and orphaned youth alongside her husband, Davante Young. Kiana never imagined that her way of changing the world would start with social media, but she wouldn’t change her journey for anything.
